Environmental & Bushland Rehabilitation Technician (Crew & Supervisor positions)
Location: We currently have positions available for our Melbourne, Morwell, & Wonthaggi depots.

The Role
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to undertake bushland regeneration/environmental works. You may be required to start on site. Therefore a drivers licence is essential for this role. Minimum 3 days per week.
Your Skills and Experience

Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety responsibilities.

Ability to undertake environmental tasks ranging from herbicide application using knapsacks and other equipment, hand weeding, woody weed removal, revegetation works and Brushcutting.

Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders (i.e., management and employees) and external stakeholders (i.e., clients, public).

Demonstrated commitment to working in a team environment by working effectively with colleagues.

Knowledge of native/ Indigenous and Weed species around the local area.

Demonstrated experience in Conservation/Land Management, or similar field, preferred.
Certificates/licenses
-
Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Manual preferred).

First Aid Level 2 (preferred).

OHS Construction Induction Card (Red Card, White Card)(Required).

Chemcert, ACUP or equivalent (Required).
Tertiary study in Conservation, Environmental Science or similar preferred.
This position does require that the applicant has their own vehicle as you will be required to drive directly to sites at times.
Please note that this job is physically demanding and there is a requirement to work in all weather conditions, depending on the tasks required.
